uczine (b. 1988) is a pseudonymous multimedia artist and designer whose work explores mortality, technology, time, decay and transformation through glitch, digital painting, screen printing, pixel art and photography.,The name comes from a low-budget fanzine uczine created in the early 2010s.
uczine works pseudonymously and takes what the artist's platforms describe as an “anti-design” approach to glitch-based digital art.uczine's editions have circulated through platforms including SuperRare, Foundation, Objkt, Nifty Gateway and fxhash,and uczine belongs to the Async Art collective.The piece Decaying Interaction was shown in “Ephemeral Visions”, a 2023 group exhibition at Art of This Millennium exploring transience and impermanence in digital art.In September 2024, uczine released soundtrack to an existential freak-show as part of Fakewhale's Solo Series on Objkt.
