Tù.úk'z is the alias of the Brazilian digital artist Arthur Machado, who has worked across glitch art, AI-generated imagery, collage, painting, video and sound since 2012. Self-described as a “digital artist from the rainforest”, he explores abstraction and psychedelia across a body of work that keeps changing in aesthetics and technique.
He began drawing and painting at 17, then discovered digital art in 2012 through the Facebook groups “Glitch Artists Collective” and “Free The Pixels”. He describes himself as a “Digital Artist and Hacker Activist” working in the post-internet space, and has taken part in more than twenty exhibitions worldwide since 2014. In 2015 he became a digital nomad, travelling through several European countries with only a bag and a computer and trading his art for food and lodging. He has since settled in southern Brazil with his family, and began working with NFTs in June 2021, which became his main professional focus.
