Before turning to glitch art, they spent over two decades working in film. That work included collaborations with brands such as Northface, Red Bull and Vans, and a nomination for Snowboard Film of the Year in 2018.,
In 2023 Trunk showed mageAR as part of fubar's EXPO, a group exhibition of glitch and net art.That year they also released M.R.I, a video work in the Digital Decay series, through the platform KnownOrigin.In 2025 Perennial Processing appeared in “BOUQUET”, a group show of floral-themed digital art presented by AOTM (Art of This Millennium). The two-minute video shows a chrome chip melting through datamoshing and frame deletion into a hibiscus flower, described as “a meditation on impermanence”.
