Tristan Rettich is a Canadianartist who creates geometric and pixel-based digital art,,working under the names wornpixeland Pixeldreams_art.Based in Vancouver,he has worked in visual effects for film for over a decade, including as a texture painter and concept artist, after graduating from the Art Institute of Vancouver.,His generative work draws on pixel art, retro video game aesthetics and geometric abstraction.,
He has contributed texture painting and concept art to film productions including Fantastic Beasts 2, Okja, Black Panther and Rings Of Power, and has worked as a senior texture painter at Digital Domain.,He has also taught at Think Tank Training Center in Vancouver.
Also known as wornpixeland Pixeldreams_art,Rettich has released generative collections including CONSTRUCTS, 333 pieces on Ethereum inspired by minimalism, chaos and rhythm, and RESONANCE, 222 pieces depicting abstract landscapes of distant planets shaped by soundwaves.,His series GRIDS, 777 geometric piecesinspired by machine learning systems,was followed by RETRO GRIDS, an edition released on Manifold in January 2025 that could only be claimed by burning an original Grids piece.On the Base network he has released BasedPixels, unique 1/1 pieces drawing on retro media and video game aesthetics, and the single work Equilibrium through Prohibition Daily in 2024.,
