traf is a developer who builds technology for other artists' NFT projects. In January 2023, the artist Jack Butcher recruited traf, alongside jalil.eth, to build the in-browser animation technology behind his NFT artwork Checks VV.¹ Butcher later credited traf and jalil.eth's contributions as central to the project's success during a public conversation at Christie's in December 2023.²
