Early in his career he designed posters and promotional material for Video Nasty, a short film production company formed in Manchester in 2011, and helped build the visual identity of The Narrows, a Manchester band formed in 2010.In 2023 he was commissioned by Sunderland BID and Art of Protest to paint Somewhere Soon Near You And Or Me, a 27-by-3-metre mural on unused retail shopfronts in Sunderland city centre.For Sunderland EXPO in 2025, he directed, designed and edited Sunderland: Culture In Motion, a motion graphics piece drawing on an archive of photography from Sunderland Libraries Service, with sound and music by Adam Hynes. The film celebrates Sunderland's culture and creativity, from its glassmaking heritage and industrial strength in shipbuilding and mining to its love of football and entertainment, and was shown on a cinema-sized screen in Keel Square to mark the event.
Between 2021 and 2023 he made several series of looping animated GIFs, many of them originally released as NFTs.,Arbitrary Loops, minted on Hicetnunc in October and November 2021, draws on mid-20th-century corporate design, jazz album covers and vintage animation.Rainbow Marbles, also minted on Hicetnunc, is inspired by vintage toys, while Routes, minted on Objkt, is inspired by transport.,In Mosaic Zoomies, made over a couple of years, he created forever-looping animations inspired by psychedelia and the Droste effect.His series Absolute takes inspiration from space, op art and vintage design.
