todemashi — who introduces himself simply as Antonio — is an Italian digital and generative artist who creates code-based artworks addressing moments of personal change. He has drawn and made things since childhood, merging that instinct with computers after getting his first machine in the 1980s. A short 3D animation for a competition later launched his UX/UI design career. An interest in crypto and NFTs later drew him toward generative art.
His debut NFT project, Cuts, is a generative art collection published in 2022 that represents the exact moments in life when something is cut, such as a move, a job loss or the end of a relationship. The project, coded with the p5.js library, was released on the platform fx(hash), generating fibre-like forms from a curated palette using a random hash. He later made vertiCuts, a spin-off generator that lets collectors customize and lock specific traits before requesting their own token. To mark the first anniversary of fx(hash), he released RushGushBlush, a generative work built around an expanding grid that evokes the speed of the generative art movement.
