TOCA ME is a Munich-based artist collective working across photography, illustration, found objects, collage and typography, combining analog and digital techniques with a graphic design background spanning more than two decades.It was founded in Munich in 2003 by Nina Steenackers, Thorsten and Ron Iberl, after several years in the design industry.
TOCA ME began as an online design platform, publishing its own projects and showcasing figures from the global design scene, before launching the first TOCA ME Design Conference in Munich in 2004.Over the years, its design conferences, workshops and meetups in Munich have hosted more than 100 international and local artists and designers, including Joëlle Snaith and Brendan Dawes.The collective has also worked on commissioned and self-initiated projects for clients including Getty Images, Adobe and BMW. Since early 2021 it has been active in NFT art on the blockchain.
