Tim Burgess is a firefighter and aerial photographer based in Canberra, Australia, who captures the ocean's textures using drones. He took up drone photography at the start of the pandemic, and in 2022 was named Australian Aerial Photographer of the Year by Australian Photography Magazine. That same year he also won the Australian Geographic Aerial Nature POTY award.¹
