Thomas Dubois is a filmmaker and creative director with a background in architecture. His NFT work combines photography, 3D and painting, and his path to it ran through street art and architecture. His architectural training gave him a sense of spatial dynamics, composition and storytelling through design. He plans each frame of his films much like an architectural blueprint.
Dark Waters, from 2018, is a storytelling project developed with his brother Alexandre Dubois. It aims for an intense, film-like atmosphere with a consistent narrative. Château Noir, from 2019, transposes the fairy tale of Sleeping Beauty. In 2022 he created concept works for the animated film The Sea Beast, directed by Chris Williams. Photon, from 2023, is a narrative project about an AI robot that collects human memories through analog photography.
