Bio

TheFoodMaster is the name used by Corina Daniela Obertas, a food photographer who combines photography and artificial intelligence to create characters intertwined with food. Obertas is based in Rome, Italy, where she works across photography and multidisciplinary art to tell stories that leave a lasting impact.^,

Her collections Food Stories and Tasty vs. Grotesque extend food photography into narrative, AI-assisted character work. In April 2024 she released the open edition Whispers of Nature's Soul on Tezos, drawing on a childhood memory of building a herbarium with her father, an agricultural engineer who taught her the names of plants.

That July she photographed Orange Semifreddo, a high-speed image of a frozen Italian dessert shot on a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, and released it as a limited edition on OpenSea. In October 2024 she released the 1/1 video Ancient Queen of Earth on Foundation, describing a figure who “walks with the wisdom of the earth, crowned by its vibrant gifts”.
