Terrell Jones (b. 1997) is a digital artist from Ann Arbor, Michigan, who works in a style he calls Pop-Precisionism, a blend of Pop Art, Precisionism and Realism that he coined in late 2022.,He began drawing as a child, influenced by cartoons, manga and drawings brought home by his older brother, and his illustrations draw on film, nostalgia, fashion and introspection.
Jones has been active in the NFT space since 2022, and moved from Michigan to Los Angeles to grow his career. He works in a careful, methodical style, building up each piece in many layers to keep total control over the final look. In 2023 he was named an NFT100 honoree.
In March 2024 he opened his first solo exhibition, “PARIAHS”, taking over the entire 9,000-square-foot Superchief Gallery in Los Angeles with physical paintings, immersive installations and digital artworks.,,The show centred on the Evil In Colour collection, built around the Deville Crime Family, a set of characters including a demonic Doberman, a fiery skeleton and an angel. Jones depicted them lounging by pools, dining out and playing poker in a style that echoes Instagram influencer imagery, posing the question of whether the Devilles are inherently evil or shaped into villains by society's condemnation.,Individual pieces on view included Moribund Melody, Hell Freezes Over and The Standoff.
Fellow digital artist Yomi Dinero has named Jones among the figures who inspired his own work within the NFT art community.
