TAN-TAN is an artist based in Delhi who works across game development, 3D environments and painting. Her practice draws on art history, game engines and technical language to frame feeling as something trained, maintained and subject to degradation. She came to digital art after years of academic painting and Old Master techniques, and began treating Renaissance structure as something interactive.
Brave New World deconstructs the Pietà into a crime scene, and its observer is judged, confronted and invited to participate. It was among 33 objkt pieces shown at Becoming Art in Jeju, South Korea, in 2024. East of Eden recontextualizes the use of gold in Byzantine art. CODEX-II merges art and gameplay to examine how digital networks have transformed cultural exchange and preservation.
