Bio

TacyTurn is a collector and digital artist who works with mathematics, code, and code combined with AI. Introduced to programming and computer graphics as a child in the 1980s through BASIC and demoscene work on the Amiga and Atari, they returned to the medium after discovering generative art in 2021.

TacyTurn describes moving into making art as a side effect of collecting it, and has released a long-form generative series that explores “the difficulty and beauty” of tuning a set of parameters to balance consistent outputs against diversity and variance.

TacyTurn is a member of FingerprintsDAO, a collective centered on blockchain art. In December 2023, they joined artists Nahiko and Teto as a guest on the French podcast NFT Morning to discuss the collective's work.
