Rivero founded Maskay, an independent platform supporting emerging artists from Northwest Argentina's NOA region through digital art, Web3 and collaborative initiatives.¹ The NOA region's rural and peripheral communities face limited technological infrastructure, and Maskay describes its mission as helping local artists reach international recognition “without losing autonomy over their own culture”.²

His university training was in interior and furniture design, building on earlier study of beaux arts, painting, ceramics, film animation, photo postproduction, rendering and 3D modeling. He develops pixel art and 3D art through close observation of his own city's architecture, and participates in Crypto Espacios. Alongside this, he maintains a more intimate, exploratory project under the name asleepartist.³ His work has been exhibited in Argentina, Japan, Switzerland, Canada, the United States, Spain and Belgium.¹
