Stina Jones is an artist and designer working across digital media, illustration and generative systems. Her work moves between character, symbol and abstraction, combining hand-drawn elements, generative processes and graphic motifs into images marked by playful surrealism.She describes herself as a “compressionist”, working with systems and visual logic within self-imposed constraints.
Jones has been active in the NFT space since 2018, when she began collecting on Tezos through objkt.In April 2021, she released Algobots, a generative series of 500 modular robot characters rendered in scalable vector format and stored fully on-chain, as part of Art Blocks' Heritage Collection.In July 2025, she released Sprites on objkt, a collection of 32 lo-fi digital artworks minted fully on-chain across seven fixed-edition tiers and released under a Creative Commons license. The series grew out of her engagement with on-chain work by WGMeets and Ernesto ASCH on Tezos, and with Jams2blues's writing on compressionism.
Jones also produces Chromatic Doodles, a body of hand-drawn digital animation released across platforms including SuperRare, Transient Labs and objkt. In 2025, her work was shown in the exhibitions “Un Sueño Digital” in Mexico City and “UNDERGROUND IX” at ArtBees in Craiova, and presented in a live show at NFC in Lisbon.In 2023, she contributed to MOCA Fundraiser, a collaboration that brought together more than 700 artists into a single mosaic released on Manifold.
