Socmplxd is a Taiwanese-American multidisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles who works across film production and digital art.¹ Drawing on a background as a film set designer, he builds staged, precisely lit still lifes of mundane everyday objects — food, domestic clutter, screens, workspaces — rendered in a crisp, simplified style described as digital realism.²

Born in Taiwan, he moved between cities and countries in his youth before settling in the United States, and has said he found solace in drawing during those years of relocation.¹
