SMLDMS is a digital artist and creator working across generative art, experimental photography, and audiovisual performance. Since 2024, much of the practice has used Bitcoin's own block and mining data as generative material, turning blockchain activity into shifting glitch visuals and procedural sound. In 2023, SMLDMS released Full Of Flowers on the platform fx(hash), a work whose centerpiece poem was written by ChatGPT while the underlying code remained human-made.
In October 2024, SMLDMS released Minimal Shift, a generative artwork on the platform fx(hash), limited to 128 editions. In February 2025, SMLDMS released Timelocked Structures through the launchpad Gamma, a generative artwork that turns Bitcoin's data into algorithmic architecture and procedurally generated sound. Later that month, SMLDMS released Satoshi Clock, a 21-edition Ordinals inscription on Gamma described by the artist as offering “various interpretations of the same block”. In June 2025, New Punks On The Block corrupted existing Bitcoin Punks through pixel mutation keyed to Bitcoin's mining protocol, so that each newly mined block reshuffles the glitch.
