Parisella began making digital art after hearing a track by the musician Skrillex, teaching himself the software he uses, including Photoshop and Cinema 4D.He built a following of more than 500,000 on Instagram before releasing his work as NFTs.,The Last Stand of the Nation State, an edition of 415, was among his early NFT drops.In 2021 he collaborated with the DJ 3LAU as SSX3LAU on Faces, an open edition on Nifty Gateway that became the platform's most-minted open edition, with nearly 5,000 mints.He also released a collaboration with Playboy on Nifty Gateway.
In 2021 he debuted the collection “What the Fork?” in New York with Phillips, followed by “SPF 30” with Christie's at Art Basel Miami.For “What the Fork?”, he curated and directed his first photoshoot with the photographer Jordan Knight, producing collages that explore female bodily autonomy and censorship.Discussing his recurring use of religious imagery, Parisella said, “I convinced myself I was going to hell at age nine… So, throughout my career as an artist, I tend to poke fun at religion as a way of dealing with that trauma.” In 2023 he released the limited-edition print Jesus Is Watching in partnership with DROOL.That same year he launched The Great Purge, inviting collectors to burn unwanted NFTs.
