Bio

Sky Goodman is a digital artist who merges emergent and obsolete technology into what the artist calls a “techno-romance”, drawing on landscape painting, Romantic poetry, and science fiction. Using video feedback and virtual reality, the work becomes what the artist describes as “a living painting” that invites the viewer to step inside it or view it from a distance.

By 2021, Sky Goodman was established enough in the Tezos NFT community that the artist ex_mortal_ later credited a conversation with Sky Goodman as part of the reason for joining the space, and the artist Tù.úk'z named Sky Goodman among a handful of long-time inspirations among the artists minting on objkt.^,

In December 2022, Sky Goodman's work was released as part of Fakewhale's Tezos Posse 2 on Nifty Gateway, and in 2024 the piece Bubblegum_Gundam was shown at Becoming Art in Jeju, South Korea, in a satellite exhibition of artists who had participated in FuturaCanvas #0 in Seoul.^, Sky Goodman's work has also appeared in “Glitch, bugs & hallucinations” at Le Cube in Garges, an exhibition tracing the glitch aesthetic to 1990s electronic music and examining how technical malfunction exposes the hidden mechanics of digital platforms, and in the roster of more than 60 artists featured in Season One of the objkt Art Pack.^,
