Bio
Silvia Maria is a photographer based in Campinas, Brazil, working across portraiture, nature, and fine art photography. Her photographs have been described as having a “haunting tactility”, working through themes of the body and self-knowledge. She trained in photojournalism during journalism studies between 2004 and 2007, before moving through fashion photography into what she calls “authorial photography”.
