Nebojša Subotić, who works under the name shoneec, is a digital artist working mostly in 3D, making monochromatic sculptural pieces that explore introspection, fear and doubt. He has made digital art since 2003 and worked for 14 years as a graphic, technical and product designer before joining the NFT space in January 2021.
His Neo Dinamo project imagines a dystopian world governed by five elemental towers — Fire, Water, Earth, Air and Universe — until corruption fractures their balance and rival cults form around each one. The Elemental Towers of Neo Dinamo series depicts the towers before this corruption, while a companion series, Eggs of Neo Dinamo, follows mysterious egg artifacts from the same world that rival cults steal for their own ends. Two related series, Visions of Birth and Visions of Death, present monochromatic, ambiguous abstract imagery that viewers are invited to interpret freely — as the birth or death of a human, cell, black hole, or universe.
