SHAKKABLOOD, the public name of Artin Ghokasiyan, is a 3D digital artist who began his career designing logos, branding, and artwork for musicians. He entered the NFT space in January 2021 after developing his skills in commercial design work. His practice centers on the HOPPERS and HPPRS characters, rabbit-like figures he has developed across multiple NFT collections.
Ghokasiyan first released HOPPERS as a handmade 1/1 collection across three generations, auctioned on Rarible. The collection's reception led him to create HPPRS, a generative follow-up collection of 8,000 pieces with more than 250 traits, released through a mint-pass mechanic in which buyers first bought a pass before redeeming an HPPR. HPPRS was his first generative project, grown out of the original 1/1 HOPPER series. The collection sold out and became available across marketplaces including Rarible, OpenSea, HicEtNunc, and MakersPlace.
Ghokasiyan filed a US trademark for the name SHAKKABLOOD in November 2021, covering downloadable NFT artwork and graphic art design services, with first commercial use dated to July 2019.
