Serc is a digital artist who works across pixel art, 3D rendering, and generative art.,,A Turkish artist based in Germany,he created Normies, a fully on-chain collection of 10,000 monochrome pixel profile pictures released in 2026,whose holders can burn tokens to customize their avatars, build tools through an open API, or convert them into AI agents.
Serc, whose given name is Sercan, worked as a street artist beginning in 2004 and later spent seven years as chief technology officer of an e-commerce company, overseeing marketing. He moved into web3 full time in May 2021, digitizing his street art and typography into TypoFace, a collection that sold out on the Foundation platform. He began learning 3D software in late 2022 and released Sensations on Foundation,,followed by Sensation: Elements, in which collectors could burn and customize tokens using a shared pool of colors and materials to become credited collaborators on the resulting artwork. These 3D works fed into The Journey of Sensation, a collection deployed on his own smart contract. His generative series Silhouettes, made in Cinema 4D using line displacers across 15 curated frequencies, was released in an edition of 999 on Solana through the Magic Eden Launchpad.
In 2025 Serc began Veil of Echoes, a generative art project that turns brainwave data captured by an EEG device into unique abstract visuals built with TouchDesigner. The project grew out of his own therapy that year, which led him to explore visualizing personal memories as art. Collectors who mint a token receive an EEG device, record their own brainwave data with the artist, and receive a generated video artwork along with a signed print of a still frame from it. Serc performed Veil of Echoes live at NFT Paris in February 2025, and the project became an official sponsor of the Non Fungible Conference 2025.
Within Normies, burning a token recovers pixels and Action Points that can be used to customize another Normie. By July 2026, holders had burned more than a quarter of the collection, reducing its supply from 10,000 to under 8,000. Using Ethereum's ERC-8004 standard, individual Normies can also be “Awakened” into AI agents with a name, personality, and memory, for which OpenSea created a dedicated category. In 2026 Serc collaborated with Beeple on a Normie able to display a different pixelated BeepleEverydays artwork each day.Normies was exhibited as one of four solo shows in shipping containers at the NFC Summit 2026 in Lisbon,,alongside Efdot, Jiwa, and Cult of Crypto Art.
