Sean Williams: About

Bio

Sean Williams (b. 1995) is a multidisciplinary artist working across illustration, animation, sculpture, fiber art and drawing. He produces physical originals in marker, ink, crayon, colored pencil and ballpoint pen alongside digital editions released through NFT platforms.^,^,^, Born in Evanston, Illinois, he works under the handle iartsometimes.

Williams has said that “for as long as I could hold a pencil, I've wanted to tell stories”. In 2017 he started the Stupid-ass-drawing-a-day Challenge, a daily drawing practice meant to help him grow as an artist and put ideas into the world regardless of how ridiculous they seemed.

Working under that handle, he released two drops on Nifty Gateway: DÜALISM in 2021, an auction with pack and open editions, and The Thiiird in 2022, eleven open editions with an airdrop.^, Between 2023 and 2025 he released further open edition drops on Zora and Rarible.^,^,^, He also produced artwork for Nike x RTFKT and, together with artist Sophie Sturdevant, for the Chicago Bulls. He runs WEIRDWILDWORLD, an experimental streetwear art brand.
