Sares (Argentine, b. 1991) is a digital artist who translates his own brainwaves, captured through EEG, into images made with artificial intelligence, 3D and generative art.,Based in Buenos Aires, he runs this data through custom models, affective computing and quantum computation to build works centred on a single emotion at a time.
Under his full name, Santiago Sares, he released Admirari in 2024, a set of 100 AI-generated images inspired by Hokusai's Birds and Flowers series.He trained LoRA models on the bird and flower subjects Hokusai painted and generated the images with Stable Diffusion and TouchDesigner, organizing the set into ten sub-series that treat flowers and birds as symbols of permanence rather than transience.He has also translated electroencephalogram recordings of his own brain activity into visual and sound work through a method he calls Data Poetics. In 2025 and 2026 he presented Sensus, an EEG-driven installation, at Palacio Libertad in Buenos Aires as part of “Rituales Tecnológicos II”, curated by Marianella Baladán and Natalia Uccello, in which a headset read a participant's brainwaves in real time and an AI classifier sorted them into one of five emotional states to generate a unique version of the piece for each visitor.
He made his debut on the platform objkt in December 2025 with Gratiam, created for the “Un Sueño Digital” festival in Mexico City and curated by objkt.one. The piece incorporates a recording of his own brain activity made while meditating on a memory of six friends met at the Primavera Digitale festival in Florence, and renders that memory through the recurring images of a dahlia and a quetzal, both drawn from Mexican culture.In April 2026 his work appeared in a group exhibition at Offline Gallery in New York, part of a digital art festival organized jointly by SuperRare and objkt, alongside artists including Robinson St. George, Neurocolor and Iness Rychlik.
