Samuel Honigstein, known as Samsy, is a creative coder, technical director and digital artist based in London and Paris.He makes real-time generative artworks using code, shading and simulation, and has worked across 3D music festivals, augmented reality exhibitions, virtual reality documentaries and data visualization.,
He trained as a designer and later worked as a creative technologist for Google Creative Lab in London, developing large-scale touchscreen installations. He served as 3D technical director for the Dubai World Expo website for nine months, and helped build the websites for RTFKT's CryptoPunk sneakers and Clonex avatar projects.
In late 2021 he released the generative collection Jiometory No Compute - ジオメトリ ハ ケイサンサレマセン on Art Blocks, describing its aesthetic as evoking “a rainy Tokyo at night”.He later released Fushi No Reality - フシノゲンジツ on Art Blocks, a generative series of real-time, chaos-and-noise-driven works intended to guide viewers into a meditative, healing state.In 2022 his work was included in the “Decentral Art Pavilion” exhibition at Palazzo Giustinian Lolin in Venice.
