RYAK creates code-generated artworks that translate invisible systems — frequencies, data flows, digital networks, universal resonances — into visible, cross-sensory forms bridging the digital and physical. Based in Armenia, RYAK works across generative code, physical prints, and 3D textures, exploring the intersection of technology and humanity.
Two early works draw on personal experience: surface-tension, 2022, reflects a period of depression that RYAK associates with years dominated by commission work rather than free art-making, while dissol of surface-tension, 2023, represents the process of overcoming it. The series Portrait of the Anthropocene, dated January 2024, is described on RYAK's site as exploring “dementia as a consequence of consumer blindness to environmental pollution”. One work from the series, Portrait of the Anthropocene #3, is permanently displayed at the Museum of Science and Technology of Chiapas in Mexico, curated by Nox Gallery in Tokyo.
