rudxane is an Amsterdam-based software developer and generative artist who has made small interactive websites and code-based art since the 1990s. His work explores the tension between computer logic and human imperfection, pairing rigid grids and repetition with the misalignment and inconsistency of a human hand.
He first experimented with NFTs through CryptoKitties in 2018, then returned to the space in the summer of 2021 as fxhash launched its beta on Tezos. His series BINGO (2021), 500 randomly generated bingo cards in an unknown language, was the fifth project ever minted on the platform. He followed it with Tych (2021), which combines grids and repetition with irregular, hand-drawn-looking marks, and "unfinished" (2022), where each output is completed only to a varying percentage.
