Resatio Adi Putra, known as Resatio (Indonesian, b. 1986), is a visual artist and designer who works primarily in collage, combining mark making and photography with manual and digital processes.,,He grew up in Bandung, Indonesia, where he started out designing t-shirt graphics for the local street culture scene before moving into collage, assemblage, drawing, digital art and zines.
He describes collage as “an attempt to deconstruct and reconstruct”, noting that the tools include “your mouse, keyboard and computer screen” as much as scissors and glue, with paper turned into a high-resolution JPG file. In 2015 he held the solo exhibition “Flesh + Flora” at Ghostbird+Swoon in Sanur, Bali, “a study of the complex dialogue between the body, nature and spirituality” that explored Bali's mysterious undercurrents.,Since 2021 he has made blockchain-based work on Tezos and Ethereum, including early work on Hic et Nunc, “before the lights went out”.
His work has appeared in group and solo shows including “A Comedy of Expensive Error”, an immersive installation staged with Project 22 at the Theatre of Digital Art in Dubai in 2023, and “GIFFest” at the National Design Centre in Singapore the same year, where he showed Coleslayer.,In 2024 his piece Exodus was displayed publicly across Australia as part of “ArtCrush”.,
