RedruM is an AI artist whose work is defined by a deep, commanding use of red, exploring dualities of good and evil, light and shadow, and the grotesque and the beautiful. His AI creations have been described as sitting “between dream and nightmare”, pulling viewers into their tension and complexity.
RedruM comes from a family of collectors and grew up around exhibitions and galleries. Before turning to art full time, he practiced law. Friends introduced him to digital art. The June 2022 release of his work MJ marked the turning point that led him to leave law and become a full-time artist. The arrival of AI art tools gave him a new creative outlet, letting him bring to life visions that had previously stayed only in his imagination.
