RAM is the artist behind Cryptobiotica, an NFT project presented as a remote cryptobiology laboratory documenting cryptobiotic ecosystems, microbial lifeforms native to blockchain networks.^1,2 Any two genetically compatible specimens can be cross-pollinated into a new species, a process that burns the parent NFTs and passes their traits to the offspring.²

Each specimen is cataloged with a taxonomic breakdown — domain, kingdom, phylum, class and family — alongside an invented Latin binomial name.³ Individual specimens carry recorded discovery dates spanning from May 2020 to June 2022.^3,4
