Schauermann is a digital artist known for minimalist, abstract works featuring cartoon characters and rough, shaky lines that evoke childhood nostalgia.He began minting art in 2019 and taught himself to paint digitally, without formal art training, starting seriously in his twenties. Working mostly on an iPad, he paints without a plan and lets the finished image suggest its own title.
In 2020, early in the NFT space, he built a virtual gallery in CryptoVoxels to display his work and explore other collectors' collections. He later moved his practice from Ethereum to Tezos, minting through objkt.com. His FrameFrens collection on objkt, minted in 2025, tells a naive, surreal story about a friendship between a horse and a man through animated, pixel-art pieces framed by a consistent visual border.
Probably Art is a curated collection of seven single-edition artworks framed as a browser-based video game, hosted on Itch.io, that invites viewers to slow down and experience the pieces outside the pace of social media.,In Beautiful Noise, a 2025 edition minted on Manifold, he described the piece as “finding beauty in imperfections and harmony in apparent randomness”.In 2023, his work was included in “The Sound of Pixels” in Hong Kong, a group show of more than 70 digital artists timed to Art Basel Hong Kong. Through a partnership with Geometric Energy Corporation, curators also sent a selection of the exhibition's artwork into Earth and lunar orbit aboard a satellite.
