PurpleDrank has described the collective's growth in his own words: “It's been a search to surround myself with artists most of my life”. He was later credited by the collective's founder, Basaia, as one of the members who collaborated on Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité (La Crème Stands With Ukraine), a 2022 piece made in honor of the group's Ukrainian members after the war began.¹ PurpleDrank's activity on networked.art dates to at least January 2022, when the artist minted early works on the platform.²
