Psychofuturist is a Mexico-based digital artist who works entirely with digital tools, moving between figurative and abstract languages through colour, movement, time and the possibilities of the screen. Their practice centres on a single question: how images can open new modes of perception, an inquiry pursued through recurring depictions of divinity and altered colour perception.
Psychofuturist studied mathematics at university before beginning a career in advertising, and moved into crypto art a few years later through an earlier project of theirs. The name comes from "psychofuturistic," a term Psychofuturist first heard from their friend neurocolor and Luis Ponce while discussing an emerging digital art movement built around colour pushed to its full range on screen and varied over time to create new colour perceptions. They adopted it deliberately, “actively saying: I like this; you can call me this”.
Across 2025 they explored depictions of divinity, imagining angelic and ethereal beings beyond human comprehension, beginning with figurative elements such as eyes, hands and skies before moving toward pure abstract movement, shape and colour. This work fed into Chromatic Drift, a curatorial project by objkt.one shown inside an immersive cube at Un Sueño Digital in Mexico City in December 2025, presented alongside neurocolor and released online as a drop at the same time.,They make the work in Blender for 3D, Aseprite for pixel art and After Effects for compositing.
They also presented work in “PHŌS_ Our Fire”, staged by The Lighthouse Gallery in Seville, Spain.Psychofuturist was included in Season One of the objkt Art Pack, a distribution of works by more than 60 artists.
