The photograph is credited to Priyanka Patel, working under the handle priyanka.¹ On her 6529 network profile, active since September 2023, she describes herself as a photographer.³ In her submission, she traced a shift at Moraine Lake from overnight queues and private-vehicle congestion to Parks Canada's timed shuttle and reservation system. The work asks who can afford the money, planning, and time needed to reach a landscape that remains publicly open in principle. As of August 2026 the photograph had been selected for the program but not yet minted or accessioned into the museum's permanent collection.¹
