Bio

Priya Mistry is an artist and illustrator based in the United Kingdom. She tells human stories through bold, emotive, colour-focused illustration across print, digital, and broadcast media for clients including Google, The New Yorker, TED, IBM, and Monocle.^,^,^,^, Her personal work includes illustrated series inspired by cities, among them London Underground and New York City.^,

Beginning with London Underground in 2017, she produced a personal series of illustrations nearly every year.^,^,^, New York City, made in 2018 in acrylic marker on paper, reflects brief moments in time in the city, while West Coast, from 2020, was inspired by her travels in California.

For Google, she illustrated a 2019 Doodle celebrating England's Lionesses at the Women's World Cup, and contributed banner illustrations celebrating Diwali for Google Play in 2017. Other commissions include spot illustrations for TED's How to be a Better Human series in 2019, an editorial illustration for IBM's content hub The Next Brick, and a series of illustrations for Monocle magazine's Bavaria edition in 2018.
