Plural Use is a video and sound artist working under the tagline “Video Feedback Gif Art”, exploring the visual world through electronic processing to reveal what is not visible to the naked eye. The name signifies both creative reuse and the plurality of all things: the practice manipulates built and found electronic equipment, much of it purchased used, defective, or broken, to generate light and sound in the digital realm.

Central to the practice is a Panasonic AG-MX70 video mixer, whose built-in wipe effects and multiple feedback sources generate looping video works such as Star Power and Power of Love.^, Plural Use also assembles modular video and audio synthesizers by hand, including a Cadet III video input module from LZX Industries and a custom analog synth begun on January 1, 2020.^,

Plural Use minted Droning Bars on the Tezos platform objkt.com, describing it as the first coordinated audio-visual piece in which sound directly shapes the visuals. Other work has been released on the Ethereum platform Manifold, including A Whole New World, an unlimited-edition mint capped at two tokens per wallet. Plural Use's work is distributed across the platforms Teia, objkt.com, Manifold, and Zora.
