PIV-1 is a painter and digital artist based in Belgium who works exclusively in the medium of Punk, reworking the visual language of CryptoPunks in acrylic paintings and on-chain digital works. His paintings Frankenstein I and Frankenstein II, both from 2026, reference Abstract Modernism and Pop Art within CryptoPunk-derived compositions.
He has taken part in “Art of Punk”, a CryptoPunks-themed group show at Francisco Carolinum in Linz, Austria, driving his physical paintings there overnight by car from Belgium. In January 2026 he joined “Onchain Harmony: Punks and Pixels” at Bryant Street Gallery in Palo Alto, a one-day pixel art event held by NEORT gallery and Glimmer DAO that traced CryptoPunks' influence on digital art across Asia, alongside artists including Larva Labs and Yosca Maeda.
