Parin Heidari (Iranian, b. 1986) is a multidisciplinary artist known for drawing simultaneous one-line portraits with both hands, a practice shaped by her synesthetic perception of sound and emotion.,Working across drawing, performance, and technology, she distills emotion and human connection into a single continuous line.,
Born in Tehran, she began drawing and painting at age three and later studied Fine Art in Iran before earning a degree in Industrial Design and Visual Communication from the Politecnico di Torino in Italy.Having lived and worked across Iran, Italy, the Netherlands, and the United States, she spent more than fifteen years as a Creative Director and Graphic Designer, working with brands including Roku and Luxottica, before dedicating herself fully to art.
She entered the NFT space in 2021, quickly becoming a trending, front-page-featured artist on OpenSea.She is the only artist to have been featured in every NFT collection released by TIME magazine's TIMEPieces series, and her work has since been exhibited across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia.,Her work entered the permanent collection of the Museum of Art + Light, and in 2025 was included in the museum's group exhibition “Neo-Techne: Art in the Age of the Machine”, curated by Jori Louise Cheville, alongside artists Des Lucréce, William Mapan, Osinachi, and Claire Silver.
Her practice also extends into technology, which she treats as a collaborator rather than a subject.Through a partnership with the Hi.DARS Robotics Lab at Texas Tech University, she developed Art vs. Code, combining drawing, robotics, and light-based performance to explore the tension between human intuition and machine logic.,She has also collaborated with the musicians Timbaland and Christian Burns, translating sound and emotion into visual form, and cites Egon Schiele as her biggest influence.,,
