Panter Xhita, also known as PXhita, is an Argentinian artist who creates digital collages exploring identity through an ongoing, interconnected story across her work.After discovering crypto art in 2020, she left her job to work on art full time and has since lived as a digital nomad.
Her 2021 collage Shadows of a cliché appeared in coverage of the NFT art world's growth.That year, CoinDesk commissioned her as one of ten artists to create an NFT portrait for a 2021 year-end feature on figures across the crypto industry, auctioned on SuperRare with proceeds supporting Ocean Clean Up.She has also collaborated with other artists, including a five-edition print titled Collab made with Bryan Brinkman on KnownOrigin.
Panter Xhita created the series A HISTORY OF CRYPTOART to honor figures in the crypto art community.,In November 2023, she also released 110 Portraits of 110 Artists, a 24-hour open edition on Nifty Gateway.Panter Xhita launched a decentralized patronage model called The Twelve, intended to reimagine collaboration between artists and collectors. Recurring motifs in her collages include eyes, animals, and the color green, a reference to paintings she made as a child.
