Bio

P1x3lboy is a British generative artist who holds an MSc in Computer Science and has been making computer-based art through coding since the age of nine. He works mainly in code, releasing interactive and animated generative collections across platforms including Art Blocks, Prohibition, Highlight and EmProps.^, In July 2024 he presented at the Generative Art Summit in Berlin, hosted by the Foundation Herbert W. Franke.

His collection Cycloids, released on the platform Prohibition in 2023, is an interactive series of retro, animated shapes that can be dragged to explore. Monoliths, a long-form generative collection of 250 editions on the platform EmProps, followed the same year. In January 2024 he released Murmuration of Particles on Highlight, an interactive collection of two intertwining particle systems that can be rotated and zoomed into. Foundry, released in 2024, uses a mutating cellular automaton, built in p5.js, to generate increasingly complex structures.

His f(x)hash series Indefinite Glitter lets viewers scatter digital glitter without the mess of cleaning it up. In Malaphors he plays with language instead of pixels, mixing the cliches of bad advice and mass-produced wall art into humorous misquotes.
