Bio
Nude Robot is the name Sam Shea works under, creating uncanny video works that hybridize reality and fantasy into monstrous human figures and stranger creatures. Despite looking computer-generated, the pieces are not made with artificial intelligence. He shoots original video footage himself, then reworks it through days of precise editing using 3D animation and motion graphics software.
In April 2023 his work was included in “Freak Shows”, a group exhibition at Unpaired. Gallery in Zug, Switzerland, presented by Kate Vass Galerie with artworks made available as NFTs on its K011 platform.
