Nocellcoverage is the studio practice of the multidisciplinary artist and designer Matt Faller. The studio combines physical and digital media to explore the relationship between technology, nature, and materiality, using digital tools to preserve, reinterpret, and expand understanding of the material world. Faller's practice spans photography, video, and animation, alongside sculptural work that incorporates hardware such as Raspberry Pi.
Faller's practice grew out of an early interest in drawing and homemade films, before they moved through mediums including stop motion, 2D animation, and 3D work during a broad-based design education. They have described being drawn to how the digital and physical world increasingly overlap, and to how ideas from the early internet connect to where the internet is going next.
