nekropunk is a Czech artist whose practice centers on sacred geometry, experimental art, and magic. He works in generative art, writing code by hand without relying on external libraries or tools, and produces reaction-diffusion patterns and multi-fluid simulations built with compute shaders.
Before becoming an artist, nekropunk worked as an automation engineer on large industrial projects. He is also known by his given name, Jan Veselý.In May 2024 he released Kontrastruktura, a collection of 164 individually inscribed one-of-one works on Bitcoin Ordinals through Function Gallery.,His generative works include Biomechanika #68, from July 2024. Another, nektar #9 from November 2025, is a multi-fluid simulation in which each substance follows its own logic, rendered through reaction-diffusion patterns and smooth particle hydrodynamics with compute shaders. He writes such pieces by hand without external libraries, keeping some to just a few kilobytes in size.
