Negative Vibrations

Negative Vibrations is the handle of Maciej Drabik, an artist, animator and art director whose work often freezes urban and nighttime driving scenes into looping moments.^1,2 In his own words, he is “capturing fragments of time, visualizing emotions and trying to make the world stop for a minute”.³

His animated cityscapes often take the form of perfect loops. In one work, Very Important Ants, a street scene repeats endlessly, as if time itself were stuck in place.² He joined SuperRare in December 2020, where he has sold works including Into the City, Night Ride and Reflections at Speed.³ He also created Coin Whisperer, one numbered card in The Memes, a collaborative NFT collection to which many artists contribute individual cards.^4,5
