Nazar Elcansky is a photographer whose work centers on analog and instant film, focused on nude photography of the female body. He began taking photographs on November 28, 2016, and cites fashion photography, art glass, painting, and non-standard posing as influences.
The hardcover book 2023 Instax Wide gathers over 300 selected Instax photographs from a year of this work, drawn from more than one hundred nude shoots across outdoor spaces and quiet interiors. A second book, HEAT WAVES, expands on those ideas with a sharper sense of rhythm, color, and atmosphere, drawing on music and everyday textures.
