MysticRose's visual narratives give voice to a feminist worldview. Her figurative art deals with issues of self-identity, belonging, women’s experience and the relation between human and nature, focusing on women and flowers in particular. In her painting, the female body does not represent the subject of desire, much less a sexual object, rather it constitutes an instrument of liberation, a means of resistance, and a redoubt against the commodification of women. MysticRose has received her BFA with distinction (1996) and Master of Art Education (2002) from Concordia University and has participated in numerous solo and group painting exhibitions across Canada, the United States, France and Argentina. In July of 2021, she minted her first animated painting NFT, Flaming Soul. Since 2022, She has participated in NFT Art exhibitions "Stratosphere" in NewYork and at CAP Gallery in Kuwait.
