MsJoKnows is a multi-disciplinary artist from the US Midwest, working across painting, fashion design and furniture upcycling. She has drawn and painted since childhood, and her practice threads shadow and light through each medium, from her paintings' contrasts of darkness and illumination to the stitched details of her handbag designs and her upcycled furniture pieces.
Alongside her art practice, she built a career as a seamstress in boutique handbag fashion design and has also worked in furniture upcycling. Her work has been shown in Times Square, at Beeple Studios, and in Paris, Miami and the Netherlands.
