Mobotato (New Zealander, b. 1980) is the artistic name of Daniel McKay, a motion graphics designer and 3D generalist from Auckland, New Zealand, who works in a distinctive robotic aesthetic.^1,2 McKay studied computer graphic design for four years and has spent more than two decades in the creative industry. He has been learning 3D since before YouTube existed.¹
